Mindfulness coaching is helpful if:
Get individual support to develop a mindfulness practice that's right for you.
- You appreciate the value of meditation and mindfulness but struggle to maintain a regular practice
- You sometimes enjoy guided meditations but you're not sure how to develop your own home practice
- You feel overwhelmed by the range of mindfulness resources available and struggle to stick to any one thing
- You enjoy the accountability and structure that coaching provides
- You're unsure about the religious or spiritual context within which mindfulness and meditation practices are often packaged and would like a more down-to-earth approach
Get individual support to develop a mindfulness practice that's right for you.
We start where you're at:
Each person comes to mindfulness from a different starting point:
With personal mindfulness coaching we can look at your specific situation and create an individual practice. |
You get accountability:
Have you ever set an intention to meditate every day, but something always gets in the way and it just doesn't happen? For many people accountability is helpful in forming a habit. This is where coaching can be really helpful. There is great power in having someone to check in with daily if you're the kind of person who tends to keep promises you make to others but sometimes struggle to do things just for yourself.

The practice is adjusted based on your experience as we move through the programme:
Time and space is made to address your unique stumbling blocks as we go along. Maybe you'll find yourself falling asleep during meditations, or ruminating on a negative experience when you're trying to eat mindfully. We will work together to address whatever comes up for you. |
We adapt the programme to your goals:
There are so many reasons people engage in mindfulness practice, your specific goals will influence the practices we emphasise in your mindfulness journey. Your goals might be:

Frequently asked questions
What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the awareness of what is happening in the present moment. This can include thoughts, body sensations, feelings and sense perceptions. It's about focusing the mind on what you're experiencing right now.
What are the benefits of mindfulness?
Numerous scientific studies support the benefits of mindfulness for health, wellbeing and productivity. I would suggest that the main benefit of mindfulness is that it gives you choice. As you become more aware of what's happening in your moment to moment experience, you also give yourself the opportunity to choose how to respond.
As you notice yourself becoming angry during a conflict with a loved one, the awareness of that anger arising gives you the space to choose to take a moment to calm down or to choose to respond in a loving way, or to choose to respond assertively.

Is there a religious basis to your mindfulness coaching?
No, many of the mindfulness practices we will explore stem from the Buddhist tradition but we won't be praying to Buddha and there will be no need to develop any spiritual beliefs. If you have your own spiritual or religious beliefs, ask me about how we can incorporate them into our work.
Do I have to do formal sitting meditation?
Not necessarily! There are plenty of ways to be mindful and some people just really don't like meditating. If this is you, don't worry, we can use other mindfulness practices or we can talk about ways to meditate that you might not have tried before.
What happens during the face-face coaching sessions?
- We reflect on your mindfulness practice and make any necessary adjustments.
- I guide you through a mindfulness meditation, responding to your experience in the moment.
- I teach you new minfulness tools for you to practice between sessions.
- We work together on overcoming your blocks. We work out what is holding you back at the moment and how to move beyond that.
What do the emails include?
- I send an email in the morning with questions about your mindfulness practice that day.
- You respond to these questions, adding anything you would like to share. I ask that you respond by an agreed time the same day.
- I will then respond personally to your email, with guidance on any adjustments needed, feedback on your answers and answering any questions you may have put to me. I will respond by an agreed time the same day or the following day.
Do I pay upfront for the 5 weeks?
Yes, I ask for upfront payment as a commitment to the program. However, I don't want you to feel trapped and if you decide the program is not right for you after starting, I will be happy to refund the remaining unused weeks (200 € per week).
when might mindfulness coaching not be right for me?
If you are not willing or able to commit time to a daily practice. This programme demands time and commitment and engagement. It's not something to enter into half-heartedly. It is also not the right programme for anyone who doesn't like having deadlines and accountability - I'm here to help by giving you deadlines and following up on them. If you know that you're someone who needs to be more spontanious, then this isn't the right approach for you.
What happens after the 5 weeks?
After the intensive 5 weeks you will have a clear practice to continue with. We will then give it some time to see how this practice goes for you. You may then want to have another coaching session after a couple of months to check in on how your practice is going and make any necessary adjustments. You might choose to attend another 5 week program at some point in the future in order to deepen your practice further.
how do I get started?
Please email me and include in the email some information about your current mindfulness practice (if you have one!) and you're experience of mindfulness so far. I'll get back to you to set up a free mindfulness consultation where we can meet face to face and explore the possibility of working together.
